Exciting Upcoming Events

It's Time to Register for VBS 2014!

Kids love crazy, weird animals…the weirder the better. So we searched the globe for the most special, unique, rare, never-before-seen animals we could find to help kids discover what Jesus' one-of-a-kind love means in their lives. Join this zoo crew―register to be a part of Weird Animals VBS!

VBS at Saint Matthew's will take place July 28 - August 1st, 5:30pm - 8:30pm nightly. Register today to reserve your child's spot for the best week of the summer! Register Here.

Sock-Hop

We'll be Rockin' Around the Clock beginning 6:30pm on Saturday, August 2nd. Dress up in 50's outfits, eat an early dinner and then join us for root beer floats & ice cream sundaes.

Trailer Renovation

Saint Matthew's is looking for volunteers to help renovate our Classrooms on the Hill (trailers) the week of August 3-9. We plan to remove the old siding and worn decking, clean up the area around, install new siding and decking and paint the new siding. This is a big undertaking and we need all the help we can get! Come for a few hours; one day or the entire week. Many local companies offer a paid day off for participating in a local volunteer effort. We'd love to have you and a few colleagues! If you have any questions, please contact Steve Buck. Sign up online here.

Adult Mission Trip

An adult mission trip is being planned for 12-18 October in New Orleans, LA. This will be a work trip to assist in the continued rebuilding of the city and assisting its residents post-Katrina. A firm commitment of 10 people will be required to make this trip a reality. Contact Pat Pritchett if you are interested.

The Vision of Saint Matthew's
To live life at its fullest in Christ.

The Mission of Saint Matthew's
To know and share God's love through the following actions:

  • Do all in our power, and then some, to foster, nourish, and sustain authentic, living relationships with God in Christ
  • Build a community devoted to becoming one human family in pursuit of God's dream for us
  • Promote personal growth so that, with God's leading, help, and grace, we will more fully realize our God given potential and purpose
  • Embrace the highest standards, as individuals, families, and a church, of love, dedication, honesty, integrity, and service
